Former Chelsea striker, Fernando Torres will captain Diego Simeone’s squad for their hybrid cup friendly match against the home based team of Nigeria.
Fernando Torres, Jan Oblak and Thomas Partey will headline the Rojiblancos squad for the friendly tie on Tuesday.
Torres scored a brace on his final La Liga appearance for Atletico Madrid, as they were held at home to a 2-2 draw by Eibar on Sunday.
Ghana international Partey who played a key role in Los Rojiblancos’s Europa League triumph is also selected in the 20-man squad to feature in GOtv MAX Cup billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
