Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has taken to his Twitter page to call out Nigerian youths questioning why they would rather pay more focus to a reality TV show instead of national matters. 
In his tweet, he made an example of the recent military coup that took place in Mali, saying a 25-year-old Assimi Goima led the coup to reclaim their country whereas a 30-year-old Nigerian man is out there shouting he is a “Laycon Stan”.
Describing the situation as ”Truly Pitiful”, Femi Fani-Kayode wrote
25 year old man in Mali led the coup to reclaim their nation. 30 years old in Nigeria watching BBNaija shouting ”Leycon my man!”
