Portuguese captain and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has labelled Polymerase Chain Reaction testing as ‘bulls***’, after he tested positive for Coronavirus the third time, which as consequently ruled him out of Juventus’ UCL clash against Barcelona.
The 5 times Ballon D’Or winner, 35, has since the first he tested positive been in self-isolation. Cristiano tested positive while on international duty with Portugal on October 13. He returned another positive result last week making him miss Juve’s UCL opener against Dynamo Kyiv. Another test was taking ahead of the clash against Barcelona on Wednesday, October 28, and it still came back negative.
According to Sky Italy, Ronaldo failed to test negative 24 hours ahead of kick-off, as required by UEFA in order to play.
Taking to his Instagram on Wednesday, Ronaldo revealed that he was ‘feeling good and healthy’ as he shared a new photo of himself. He also slammed (PCR) testing - as ‘bull****’.
