Industry experts say Davido is friendly, but the singer doesn’t joke with his girlfriends (especially Chioma).

Nigerian singer, Davido was recently in France, where he attended the 2018 Midem Music Festival at Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, a convention center in Cannes. The 25-year-old then took to his Instagram account with 6.7 million followers, to share his Dolce&Gabbana look at the event where artists, tech and brands connect. “I don’t pull up for FREE ! U gotta send us the Budget!!!,” Davido captioned the photo.

The singer’s sweetheart, Chioma Avril Rowland, was the first to comment on the photo that got celebrities including Don Jazzy, DJ Cuppy, Dremo, Falz and more talking. A fan, @Alissa whose Instagram profile described as blogger, replied Chioma’s comment on Davido’s outfit by calling her ‘ode’, a Yoruba word translated as ‘idiot’ in English language. Davido replied with ‘F*uck U’ before another fan @Ikayonuoha told the singer to ‘calm down’. While in France, Davido announced plans to hold a concert at the 20,000 capacity 02 Arena in London. “It’s called my brother (Wizkid) did it, I’m about to do it,” said Davido.

The Headies 2018 Artiste of the Year, has been listed as performer alongside Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Meek Mill, Diplo, Miguel, Janelle Monáe, Alessia Cara and more for the 2018 Made in America Festival scheduled for September 1-2 at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, US. Davido will also be sharing stage with One MusicFest 2018 headliners – Nas, Cardi B and Miguel – for the two-day celebration of live music billed to take place at Central Park in New York on September 8-9.
