After last weeks brouhaha about the popular Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola acquiring Nigeria’s biggest and oldest bank, First Bank, earlier today FBN Holdings Plc, confirmed that Otedola isn’t its largest share-holder, that the single-largest shareholder in the FBN Holdings stakes is the CEO of Leadway Assurance, Mr. Tunde Hassan-Odukale.
This was confirmed in a statement released by FBN holdings, national secretary, Seye Kosoko, on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, that Mr Hassan-Odukale and Mr. Femi Otedola as the only shareholders with more than five percent shareholding in the company.

Hassan-Odukale owns 5.36 percent while the oil magnate Femi Otedola owns 5.07 percent.
