Fayemi Officially Resigns From Buhari’s Cabinet

The Honourable Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, officially resigned from his ministerial office on Wednesday.

The former Ekiti state governor bowed out with a special valedictory session held in his honour at the council chambers of the presidential villa.

President Buhari led other members of the Federal Executive Council to give the Ekiti State governorship candidate a befetting farewell. Buhari noted that Fayemi’s contributions helped the present administration to achieve remarkable progress in the solid minerals sector.
Other members of the executice council also wished Fayemi success on his quest to rescue Ekiti state from the claws of the Peoples Democratic party.
