Popular Nollywood actress, Fathia Balogun has severed all ties with her ex-husband on Thursday as she changed her full name to Fathia Williams.
Fathia made her decision known to her fans through her Instagram account by changing her Instagram handle to her new name. Her new first name “Williams” is her paternal surname.
Though the couple fell apart years ago and eventually divorced, she didn’t drop the name due to the fact that it was part of her successful stage name in the movie Industry. The 48-year-old actress will work towards re-branding her name in the industry, hoping that the change won’t affect her brand negatively.
