Chelsea’s most popular front man, Eden Hazard, said his father, Thierry Hazard, is in trouble for his Real Madrid transfer outburst.
In an interview with GOAL, the 27-year-old Belgium international brushed off claims made by his father that he is holding off on signing a new contract to encourage an offer from Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Hazard joked that his father is in trouble for the interview he made in Le Soir but stated that he will begin contract talks with Chelsea at the end of the season.
He said “My dad says some bad things…Yes. I talked with him (to tell him to stop), no worries. I’m focused with Chelsea. I’ve got two years contract left and I’m happy here. Like I said 10 times before, I want to finish this year and then we’ll see. But I’m happy here.”
