Mavin Music boss Don Jazzy is excited to finally meet with his favourite spoken word artist, Hafsat Abdullahi.
The multiple award-winning spoken word poetess was well received by Don Jazzy at his studio on Friday.
Jazzy expressed gratitude to Adbullahi for the visit while highly commending the creativity of her craft.
“Had to meet my favorite spoken word artist. She is soooo good. You guys should check her out. Thanks for coming thru Miss @_havfy,” he wrote.

The poetry champ, Abdullahi went viral after recently sharing a piece she amazingly used spoken words to promote the acceptance of the use of mother tongue.
She titled the video clip: “My mouth is a battlefield! A clash of unyielding cultures warring for dominance See, my tongue is a traumatized survivor… I think it’s about time I shared this piece with my audience. Here goes nothing.”

The poem, which symbolises the strength of the African tongue, and her underlying love for her accent, talked about the social segregation Blacks face abroad, and how foreigners mock Africans because of their tongue.
