So there is this popular ideology that if you do the same thing consecutively for 21 days, it becomes an habit and won’t be easily taken away from you. Certainly, this applies to the art of excellence.
“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” – Aristotle
Mind you, it is not about doing just anything consecutively but doing the right thing and inducing the right attitude towards achieving excellence.
You want to train yourself to do the right thing at the right time, make excellence your watchword and live by such principles so as to attain whatever it is you have in mind for yourself.
