Former UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair stormed Abuja, the nation’s capital on Tuesday to visit Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu uploaded the photos of the visit on his Twitter handle, saying that they discussed areas of mutual interests and how Nigeria could continue to benefit from the amazing work of the Tony Blair Institute.

He wrote: “I received former British Prime Minister and founder Tony Blair Institute for Good Governance, Mr Tony Blair, at the Defence House, Abuja, earlier today.

“We discussed areas of mutual interests and how Nigeria can continue to benefit from the amazing work of the Institute.”
In other news, President Joe Biden of the United States, has announced the delegation that will attend the inauguration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Recall that no fewer than 65 world leaders, including Heads of State, have been invited to Tinubu’s inauguration.
The President-elect will be sworn in as the 16th President of Nigeria on May 29 at Eagle Square, Abuja.
The US delegation will be led by Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Marcia L. Fudge.
