It has been reported that two married men have continually defiled a 7-year-old girl in their compound, and the little girl has taken it upon herself to report the issue to their wives.
Mr. Osuntubo Dare 42′ and Idowu Gbolahan 29 are the alleged suspects who both lives at Shomolu Lagos state.
The act is said to have been going on for a while now in the compound, with the accused separately defiling their neighbor’s daughter, without each other’s knowledge. The abuse which initially began in 2017 continued in 2018 before the girl’s mother suspected that her Daughter has been defiled. That was when the girl pointed at Dare and Gbolahan has the ones who have been defiling her.
Investigations further revealed that Dare was the one who began the abominable act in 2017 before Gbolahan followed suit in 2018 and they bought threatened the little girl subsequently not to tell anyone of their actions.
Dare and Gbolahan were arrested after the matter was reported to the police at the Gender Section of the Command, P.M. Express reports. Their wives were also informed and the girl confirmed to the women that their husbands had been sexually assaulting her.
They were both found guilty after the girl confronted them at the police station, and they have both been charged before the Ogba Magistrates for the alleged offense. The court ordered them to be remand in prison without taking pleas from them.
Their matter has been adjourned till September 24, 2018.
