Evil! Mother Suffocates Her Newborn Baby To Death

The police in Sokoto has taken into custody a 19-year old new mom. According to reports the 19-year old whose name was given as Munirat Bagana, an indigene of Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State, was arrested for allegedly suffocating her newborn baby boy to death. Munirat, who is also a student of Sokoto State School of Health Technology, Gwadabawa, was arrested on Monday. She was arrested after dumping the baby’s corpse in a dustbin. Upon interrogation, Munirat denied the allegations saying the baby was stillbirth and was born prematurely. ASP Cordelia Nwawe, the Sokoto State police command PPRO, who paraded the suspect before newsmen, said she would soon be charged after the investigation is concluded.
