A Nigerian tweep has declared the uniformed men and women at the Lagos international airport beggars and extorters as he recounted his experience with them while travelling.
In a series of tweets, the Podcaster lamented how the COVID-19 safety procedures were not followed, and the unending bags search and travel documents examination without caution o.
“My experience at Lagos International airport is traumatizing. Everybody on uniform at the airport is an official bambiala. I mean everybody wearing a uniform either begs or extorts for a living. Covid safety my black ass….. Everybody is searching your bags and touching your travel docs like we passing a blunt in a circle” he began.

“These fucks still searching bags even at boarding. I couldnt can! For no other reason but the opportunity for every staff on ground to beg/harrass passengers. Nigeria is hectic…I agree but the problem is 90% of the staff at the airport got there thru connection and not by qualification or competence“, he added.
That odor is permanent cos sometimes they use air freshener n the odor drowns it. They need to throw away the whole building to get rid of that stale smell and probably hidden dead rats. ??♂️

I think these govt officials in Nigeria 've legitimized beggary. Last 2 weeks @ the Min of Justice in @oyostategovt, t'was a show of ignonimy and shame. I went to obtain a #400 stamp on an affidavit only to part with #1000 after two officials begged for #300 each. Shameless lots! https://t.co/xi2IWCTu9h
