Everton Football Club have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with DC United for the permanent transfer of Former Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney.
According to Sky Sports, Rooney is expected to arrive in Washington at around 7:00pm on Thursday to wrap up the move. He is scheduled to hold his first press conference at the American outfit on Monday.
Rooney has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with DC United, and will complete the formalities of his move when the MLS transfer window opens on the 10th of July.
Rooney is the first player to leave Everton in the 2018 summer transfer window.
