Euro 2020: Czech Republic Smash 2 Past Scotland; Other Fixtures Later Today

The Euro 2020 entered its fourth day with the game between the Czech Republic and Scotland the first game of the day, round the first round of matches from Group D. England versus Croatia was the first match of the group, with England winning its opening group game at the Euros since 1970s.  Euro 2020 Scotland Vs Czech Republic

Just over an hour ago, the Czech Republic showed its superiority beating the third team from the British ales Scotland, quite comfortably with star striker from Bayern Leverkusen Patrick Shick scoring at the double. Though it must be said that Scotland put up a gallant fight but just fell short of the important talent that would’ve mattered

Yesterday 3 games were played, starting with England vs Croatia. The game ended 1 nil in favour of England with Raheem Sterling scoring the only goal.

While the game between Austria and Macedonia ended 3-1, in favour of Austria, winning its first game at an international competition. But the Macedonia legend and veteran Goran Pandev did score his side first goal at an international competition too.

The last game of the day was Netherland vs Ukraine it was a major chaotic and hugely entertaining match. The Oranges took the lead through former Liverpool man Gini Wijnaldum and his effort was doubled by Waghoust before the Ukrainians put up a gallant fightback drawing the game at 2-2. But wing-back Dumfries who has missed a couple of sitters earlier in the game had the final say for the Dutch side saving Patrick De Boer’s blushes as they won the game 3-2 through Patrick Dumfries header.
