The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has said that the resumption date of international flights in and out of the country is not October, however it may be earlier than that.
The Minister made this known in a post shared to his Twitter page, where he debunked speculations about the resumption of international flights.
Recall that since March 23 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and in a bid to curb the virus spread, the government had suspended all international flights.
His tweet reads, “International Flight resumption date is not October. NAMA just issued a routine 90 day Notices to Airmen (NOTAM). In liaison with Health, Foreign Affairs & PTF COVID-19, we will announce the agreed date, regardless of the ban by Europe, UAE etc. May be earlier than October.”Photo Credit: Twitter
