There are quite a number of blockbuster league matches in Europe this weekend between potential title winners and the top pick would have to be Man City going to Anfield to take on the Premier League leaders, Liverpool who are still unbeaten in the league this season.
An interesting fact about this weekend fixtures in the Epl is that if Man City does lose this weekend at Liverpool, while Leicester City and Chelsea do win the own games Man City might this weekend 4th on the table.
The Leicester game where Brendan Rogers team would be welcoming Arsenal to the King Power Stadium would be another interesting watch for a number of reasons as Unai Emery would be looking over his shoulders about the security of his job with rumors that Max Allegri and Jose Mourinho could be in line to take over from him.
Man United would be at home against Brighton after there exploits on Thursday night in the Europa League at Old Trafford. Brighton is a difficult team to play against but I feel United have enough to win nothing less than 3 goals in this fixture.
While Frank Lampard’s boys are up against his Old England Manager in Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace it should be another fun watch for a neutral its a battle of the Olf Guards and the brave Greenhorns who would triumph my bet would be on Chelsea 3 goals to maybe 1 or 2, most definitely there would be goals.
My take on the battle between the title challengers I see a draw or a Man City win.
