Bournemouth stunned Liverpool 1-0 as Philip Billing’s first half goal was enough for the Cherries to secure all three point at the Vitality Stadium to leap out of the bottom 3.

Substitute, Diogo Jota saw his on target header come off the arm of Adam Smith with 20 minutes left on the clock but it took VAR intervention for referee, John Brooks to blow for a spot kick which was kicked wide off target by Liverpool attacker, Mohammed Salah.

Substitute Ryan Christie forced a good save from Goalie, Alisson late on, with Bournemouth weathering a late surge from the away side to hang on and claim an important three points, denting the red’s top-four hopes.
