WCW: Genevieve Nnaji’s Inspiring Lifestyle Is Worthy Of Emulation

Genevieve Nnaji is arguably one of the best actresses in Nollywood, having bagged so many awards and titles to her name! She is still not slowing down.

She< is one of the few Nigerian actresses with international recognition, her recent movie Lion’s Heart has been adopted by Netflix and she also just became the first Nigerian to join the United Talent Agency joining the likes of DJ Khaled, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, and Mariah Carey just to mention but a few.

Genevieve was born on the 3rd of May 1979 in Mbaise, Imo state, but she was raised in Lagos state. Her father, who was an engineer and her mother, a school teacher worked together to raise their eight children, of which Genevieve is the fourth, in a middle-class environment. Initially, she was a child actress at the age of 9 in a television soap opera titled Ripples. She attended Methodist Girls College, Yaba and went on to graduate from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor’s in Creative Arts. It was while she was an undergraduate that she started auditioning for acting jobs. Her Zeal and hard work have earned her the accolades and that’s why she is our WCW.
