Nigerian disk jockey DJ Switch has charged the Nigerian youths on the need to continue to trend the #EndSARS movement, as well as use their voices to ensure the continuation of the movement.
DJ Switch said this in a video she shared on social media, noting that the youths have no other power than their voices.
“These people have all the power, money, resources, access, it is only power we have and it is our voice, and we must use it. In whatever capacity that we can, we must use our voice. When we don’t see #EndSARS on the Twitter trends, the people that are trying to help us will think nothing is happening and maybe the government has started giving in to the demands of the people”, she said. “It won’t take you up a minute, keep it on that table no matter what. I don’t care if it is number 9 or 10 or 11 or 5. Som days we might miss it but let us try,. I can assure you there are people fighting for us, it is a marathon. People are fighting for us, let us help them”, she added.
