The Presidential aide to the president on New Media Bashir Ahmad has taken to Twitter to announce that the President Muhammadu Buhari had been briefed about the current status of the #EndSARS protest which has gained international attention and acclaim. 
The #EndSARS campaign trended at number 1 across the world on all social media platforms today. Ahmad in his tweet noted that every Nigerian is free to protest against anything they deemed wrong in the Nigerian society.
Ahmad further noted also that action will be taken very soon which will serve best at the interest of Nigerians.
He tweeted;
“Good people of Nigeria have every right to protest the police brutality or anything they see is not going on well.
“The President was briefed yesterday by the IG of Police, I am very sure action will be taken and in the best interest of Nigerians. EndSARSProtests.”
