Popular controversial singer, Naira Marley has called off the #ENDSARS protest he was supposedly called for and was supposed to lead.

This is coming a day after the Minister for Youth Mr Sunday Dare had urged Naira Marley to call off the protest and help queer any further disturbance to public peace and stability.

The singer took to his Twitter handle earlier today and said the pre-planned protest had cancelled and gives the government a week to see the obvious changes asked for, and if none is seen he and Nigerian youths will take to the street for a mass protest.

The singer stated via his verified Twitter account that he cancelled the planned protest because ‘a lot of changes are being made right now.’Naira Marley

“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest. #togetherwecan,”
