The Magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos State, has granted Peter Eronmosele Adene bail of a whooping sum of one million naira. The court granted the bail on Tuesday after it rejected a request by the police for an order to detain him for another 30 days, to enable them conclude investigations into the allegations against the defendant.
Meanwhile, Eromosele Adene had been arrested on the 7th of November in his home by the Police, for his involvement in the #EndSARS protest and also on allegations of providing financial support to the movement. Read also:Â #EndSARS: Govt Threatening To Shut African Shrine – Seun Kuti
The Police had then allegedly told the court that Eromosele was arrested at the ground of the protest, whereas he was picked from his home. Before his arraignment today, he had been whisked to Abuja where he was detained for 8 days, and then back to Lagos.
