Emre Can admits it would be great to play with Cristiano Ronaldo in Turin.
Can complete his move to Juve from Liverpool as a free agent this summer and he started training with the Serie A giants on Monday. The German midfielder cheered the possibility of playing with Ronaldo at the club during his official presentation on Monday. “For any player, it would be great to play with someone like Cristiano Ronaldo,” he said. “I don’t know, however, if there has been contact between the club and the player. I’m focused on myself, but if it would be great if it happens.”
Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement with Cristiano Ronaldo and are waiting for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to approve the 33-year-old’s € 100 million exits, having agreed to sign a €30 million-a-year deal for the next four seasons in Italy. Emre Can add that he’s looking forward to winning the Serie A and Champions League with Juve. “I know how big this club is, I know it has a winning mentality and I came here to win new titles,” he added. “I received many offers from important clubs, but I chose Juventus because their project is great.
“Juventus have important goals and I want to be part of this. The first objective is to win Serie A and then the Champions League will also come. The club has been waiting for it for 22 years, so everyone wants to win it and I want to help.”
