2023: This Election Will Be The Mother Of Them All – Kingsley Moghalu

A former President aspirant under the ADC, Professor Kingsley Moghalu, has stated that the 2023 elections will be the mother of all the electioneering processes since independence.

Moghalu took to the social media platform, Twitter on Saturday to express his opinion about the forthcoming elections.

The former Deputy Governor of CBN maintained that, if Nigerians were of the opinion that the 1999 and the 2015 elections were monumental, then people should eagerly wait for the 2023 elections.

Moghalu further argued that the February election is unique in so many ways. He explained that the involvement of the Nigerian youths will change the directory of the election, as they are ready to take back the government from political jobbers.

Furthermore, he stated that this will be the first time in the history of the country, that the main contenders will have a very strong base, almost throughout the country.

It should be noted that the candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is from the South West, PDP’S Atiku Abubakar is from the North East, the candidate of the NNPP, Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso is from the North West and the Labour Party’s Peter Obi is from the South East.

Moghalu is of the opinion that, no party can beat its chest that it will carry the day, because virtually all candidates will secure their region.

Political analysts and stakeholders have even suggested that the election might go into a second round. Their analysis stems from the fact that, unlike before, this election won’t have a clear-cut winner in the first round.
