Election 2023: Obi Leading In 15 Anambra LGAs

Results so far from the the collation centre for the presidential election in Anambra State has put Peter Obi ahead of the other presidential candidates with 15 states in the pocket.

So far, 15 Local Government Area results have been officially announced by the INEC in the state with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party winning all.

Obi, who is from Anambra, also won in Aguata LGA, the hometown of the state governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, scoring 37,478 out of the 40,387 votes cast, beating his closest rival, the candidate of APGA, who scored 712.

He also won in Dunukofia LGA, the hometown of a business mogul and a chieftain of the PDP, Chief Arthur Eze, scoring 18,715 out of the 20,198 votes cast. The PDP scored 428 votes.

Six more LGAs are still being awaited.
