Deputy Senate president Dr Ike Ekweramadu has been summoned by the EFCC to offer explanations on why his name has been found in the ongoing money laundering case being investigated by the commission. Ekweremadu was sent the invite via a letter by the commission on Tuesday July 24,Sahara Reporters, reports. The letter was signed by Mohammed Abba, EFCC’s Director of Operations. It was also reported that officials of the Police and the Department of State Services laid siege to Ekweremadu’s residence, alongside that of Saraki.  Photo Credit: Getty
