Afenifere Crisis: Don’t Meddle In Issues You Know Nothing About. – Ayo Adebanjo Warns Makinde

The leader of the Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo, has warned Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State against interfering in the leadership issue of the sociocultural organization.

Adebanjo made the remark while stressing that he has no issue with his predecessor, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

He also warned Makinde not to meddle in issues he knows nothing about.

Addressing reporters yesterday, Adebanjo cautioned Makinde against any attempt to split Afenifere.

“What Governor Makinde does not know about, he should not interfere. I have no dispute with Baba Fasoranti. He should not be one of those who want to split Afenifere, and that is not what I stand for,” he said.

Adebanjo spoke against the backdrop of a proposed reconciliation meeting with Fasoranti.

Makinde had disclosed plans to reconcile Adebanjo and Fasoranti.

In other news, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has disclosed plans to reconcile the two Afenifere national leaders, Ayo Adebanjo and Reuben Fasoranti.

Makinde disclosed this to journalists after a closed-door meeting with the Afenifere leaders.

The governor said elections were over, hence the need for both Afenifere leaders to reconcile.

While Adebanjo supported the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, Fasoranti backed President Bola Tinubu during the presidential election.
