Eid-Il-Kabir: FG Declares 2 Days Public Holiday
The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday and Tuesday, 12th and 13th August, as public holidays for the 2019 Muslims Eid-il-Kabir celebration.

Announcing through the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Barrister Georgina Ehuriah, in a statement released on today, the Government urged Nigerians to shun any form of disruptive tendencies and join hands with the Federal Government to build a peaceful, strong and united Nigeria so as to achieve an enviable Next Level of growth and development.Eid-Il-Kabir: FG Declares 2 Days Public Holiday

Ehuriah congratulated Muslims and also advised Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to use the period of this year’s Eid-il-Kabir celebration to embrace the virtues of love, humility, peace and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh). “The President Muhammadu Buhari administration will protect the lives and properties of Nigerians.
