Pastor Folu Adeboye the wife of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has advised women to stop using social media as a standard when searching for their significant other but let God choose for them. The wife of Pastor Adeboye said this while speaking to unmarried women at a service.

She noted that once a person marries wrongly it is the beginning of hell for them so it is important to listen to the voice of God. Pastor Folu Adeboye explained that no one should marry a man because of the material things he can provide because things can change in the twinkle of an eye and the man is all you have left. The Woman of God used her marriage with her husband as an example sharing that he left his job in the university to serve in God’s vineyard and things weren’t easy at the beginning.
