Eid-el-Fitr: I Can’t Wait To Go Home – President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has celebrated his last Eid-el-Fitr festivities in the presidential villa, Abuja.

He told dignitaries who thronged the seat of power on Friday, that he can’t wait to go home after eight years of being in the saddle of governing the country.

He revealed that he deliberately arranged to be as far away as possible from people.

The event was the 9th and final Sallah homage held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He commended residents of the FCT for being a tolerant hosts in the last seven and half years.

“Thank you for tolerating me…I consider myself lucky to have been a governor, minister and head of state and now president for two terms,” Buhari told guests at the ninth and final Sallah homage held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja

“I can’t wait to go home…I deliberately arranged to be as far away as possible from you people. I have got what I asked for and will quietly retire to my home town in Daura,” Buhari stated at the brief event.
