Eid El-Fitr! FG Declares Monday & Tuesday As Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Monday, 26th and Tuesday 27th June 2017 as Public Holiday to mark forthcoming Eid-El Fitr Celebration.The minister of Interior, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (Rtd.) made the announcement on Thursday in Abuja and according to him this is to enable Muslims mark Eid-el-Fitr.The Honourable Minister who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians in general to use the occasion of the celebration for sober reflection and pray for peace, unity and progress of the nation in its march to nationhood.The minister urged Nigerians to join the Buhari-led administration to build a peaceful, strong and united Nigeria which guarantees fundamental freedoms, including the right of residence in any part of the country, as preserved in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
