Egyptian Striker, Mohammed Salah, Will Miss Liverpool’s Clash Against Everton Due To His Groin Injury

Liverpool striker, Mohamed Salah will be left out of Liverpool’s clash against Everton on Saturday afternoon, due to the slight injury he sustained in his teams Champions league victory over Manchester City on Wednesday.
Salah scored the opening goal in the Red’s 3-0 victory over Manchester City, but was forced off in the 52nd minute due to a groin injury.
In his post-match conference, Liverpool’s manager, Jurgen Klopp played down the severity of Salah’s injury and claimed the 25-year-old said he was ‘all good’. Salah had a scan on his injury on Thursday and according to Al-Mustaqbal, he has suffered no long-term damage to his groin.
But the report also claims that Klopp is planning to rest Salah for Liverpool’s trip to Goodison Park in order for his star player to be fit for his side’s second leg against City at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening. Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday, Klopp insisted that Salah is not completely ruled out of the game against Everton. He said: “Of course you want imagine we’ve tried everything to make him available. Still 24 hours to go until we start, let’s see what happens. You cannot push a player through a game, not even our supporters would want that.”
