Egyptian Football Essam El-Hadary Retires At 45

 Legendary Egyptian goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary has resigned. Hadary, who made history at the just concluded Russia 2018 tournament as the oldest player to feature at a World Cup has retired from international football.  Hadary, 45, made his debut in 1996 and went on to play 159 times for his country. on his resignation, Hadary wrote;“After 22 years, four months and 12 days, I saw it as the best moment to hang up my gloves. I am very proud to have played with the national team in 159 internationals, participating in unprecedented achievements.” Photo credit: Getty
