Former governor of Jigawa State, Saminu Turaki, has been arrested by officials of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The former governor is being persecuted for alleged mismanagement of Jigawa state’s funds when he was still the governor of the state.
A Source which confirmed the arrest to said that the ex governor had been evading court appearance following which an arrest warrant was issued by the court. Reports states that he won’t be released until the date of the next court sitting when he’ll be taken to court.
