American President Donald Trump had ordered the construction of a “non-scalable” fence around the entire complex of the White House, the Ellipse and Lafayette Square on Monday, US media reports.
This was seen in pictures and videos put out in the reports, showing the White House under construction on Monday, the eve before the day America decides her President for the next 4 years.
NBC News reported on Sunday that 250 National Guardsmen had been put on standby, reporting to the DC Metropolitan Police. The White House, however, did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on the security barriers around the White House, federal buildings, and other main streets, which is believed to be put up in anticipation of civil unrest during the upcoming election night.

While some citizens and residents who are in support of Donald Trump welcome the fence, others slam him, saying the White House has never been so barricaded.
Obama had the most death threats against him when in office and he never had to add a bunch of fences to the White House and board it up on election day.
