Following an unpaid electricity bill of N535, 000, veteran artiste, Eedris AbdulKareem was arrested last week for allegedly beating up his landlord, Oladipo Abimbola at Valley View Estate, Ikeja, Lagos on the 3rd of January.
According to reports, the Mr Lecturer singer barged his way into the landlord’s apartment with the aim of beating him up because he had instructed the Electricity distribution company to disconnect his house.
Speaking, the landlord told members of the police force that Eedris is a dangerous person, who is capable of carrying out the most vile acts against humanity. He also said that the singer was a constant debtor as regards his rent.

The artiste on his part denied the accusations and insisted that the landlord often harassed his wife in his absence and try as he would to stop this, his pleas often fell on deaf ears.
The case has however not been closed and is still in progress.
