An Okada rider has met his untimely death at the hands of a policeman in Ebonyi state.
According to reports, his refusal to pay N50 bribe to the policeman in Ebonyi state led to him being fatally shot. The young man who was in his 20s, was killed on Wednesday night by an officer attached to Anti Kidnap squad, AK of Ebonyi State police command along Water Works road, Abakaliki. David Umahi, the state governor reacting to the news, has ordered the immediate arrest of the policeman. The governor who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Emmanuel Uzor, said the act can only be described as barbaric and callous, adding that justice will definitely be done. Photo Credit: Various
