Ebony Life Denies Stealing Story Of Journalist Tobore Ovuorie To Make Movie “Oloture”

Ebony Life media group has put out a statement denning claims that it stole the story of investigative journalist Tobore Ovuorie to make the movie ‘Oloture’. The media outlet shared that the movie is a work of fiction born out of several in-depth research.

The media group in it official statement shared that the official statement was necessary to set the records straight and put an end to the disparaging statements by Ms. Ovuorie. They also appreciated the premium times and several other investigative journalist who risk their lives, go undercover to tell these compelling stories.

Tobore Ovurie in an interview had accused the media group of stealing her story which she went through a lot for 8 years ago. Tobore went undercover for months as Ogogo, an aspiring sex worker seeking greener pastures. The report sought to investigate the dangerous sex trafficking business prevalent in Nigeria.
