As seen in the footage, she scanning around furtively to be sure nobody was watching, picked up a lighter and struck it. Like one who had mediated on her plan, the little girl didn’t hurriedly run out of the store but strolled out, looking back to see her handiwork.
In another video which surfaced on social media, the little girl was seen being interrogated for her actions. “My mum took me to the shop. She wanted to buy xxx for my sister. We went to the market first before going to the shop. My mummy was with my sister at the drink session”, the little girl stutters during questioning by a team of investigators.
She still has on her the same clothes she wore to the shop on the day of the arson, as captured on CCTV. It is, however, unclear if the questioning was carried out on the same day.
