‘Dreams Do Come True’…This Is What Happened When Offset Met His Father After 23 Years

American rapper Offset enjoyed a tearful reunion with his father after not seeing him for 23 years. On Friday, the 27-year-old rapper – one-third of group Migos – posted an emotional video of their first father-son embrace in over two decades.

The father-of-four said meeting his own dad was ‘dreams do come true’ and added: ‘I still love him’. The Bad and Boujee rapper, who is famed for writing his captions in all caps, wrote on Instagram: ‘DREAMS DO COME TRUE ‘HAVENT SEEN MY FATHER IN 23 YEARS !!!!!! AND I STILL LOVE HIM. THE PAST IS THE PAST AND THE PRESENT IS ALL WE HAVE TO RELY ON. Cardi B’s husband added: ‘WE NOT PERFECT IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM I LOVE YOU POPS !!! NO MATTER WHAT!!!!’ Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, later shared a picture of him and his father posing in front of a car.

He captioned the post saying they look ‘so much alike’. Offset became a father of the first time when Kulture, his first child with Cardi B, was born in July last year. He shares Jordan, nine, with Justine Watson and Kody, three, from his relationship with Oriel Jamie. Kalea, also three, was born to mum is Shya L’Amour. While on the Breakfast Club recently, the hip hop star spoke about his relationship with his father, revealing he had not seen him since he was four. However, they had spoken on the phone four years ago, he said.
