“Don’t Phone Me, Call Me, Email Me Or Try To Contact Me In Any Way” – Tyson Fury Announces Social Media Blackout To ‘Respect’ Dillian Whyte

Tyson Fury has announced he will be leaving social media in the build-up to his WBC heavyweight title clash with Dillian Whyte.

Mandatory challenger Whyte signed his contract just before the deadline on Monday evening, setting up a blockbuster all-British clash on April 23rd and the first time Fury has fought on in the UK since the summer of 2018.

Fury, who overcame Deontay Wilder and rounded off a stunning trilogy of fights between the two in October, vowed to pay Whyte all of the “respect” he deserves and committed to focusing on training between now and April.

An official announcement is yet to be made but Fury says he is focused on his training camp, promising to see fans at a press conference that is yet to be scheduled.

“I’m about to go off social media completely for the next eight and a half weeks,” he said.

“I’m going into training camp to give Dillian Whyte all the respect in the world he needs. I’ll never underestimate anyone in my life.
