The President of the United States has described Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old boy that killed 17 and injured 50 people in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on Wednesday afternoon, as a mentally disturbed teenager.
Cruz strategically used a fire alarm to lure people into the hall of the school, before killing 17 people with at least one AR-15 rifle, some magazines, smoke grenades and a gas mask. He successfully evaded policemen by intelligently pretending to be one of the terrified students running for cover.
After thousands of people took to social media to demand an immediate gun control action by the government, Trump took to Twitter to blame the boy’s “Mental problems” for the shooting. See Trump’s tweet below:
“So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!”
