DJ Cuppy turned 27yesterday and her birthday gifts came in not in millions but in billions. The billionaire daughter and philanthropist inaugurated her foundation Cuppy Foundation with a Gala night on Sunday where she received lots of cash donations, from her father, Femi Otedola, Africa’s richest man, Dangote and other influentials in the society.
The disc jockey took to social media to note that the donations she received are the best birthday gift she got. “BEST Birthday Present! The #CuppyGoldGala was such a success! ✨ The @CuppyFoundation raised over 5.1 billion Naira to help Nigerian children! ???? #CuppyDay“, she wrote as she shared a picture of herself showcasing a birthday.
She noted in another post that she was proud of the money raised at the gala night for her partner foundation Save The Children Nigeria. “WE BROKE A RECORD! ? SO proud of the money raised at the #CuppyGoldGala for @SaveChildrenNGÂ ?“, she wrote.
