Disney has announced that the superhero and King character “T’Challa” that was played, by the late African-American actor Chadwick Boseman, will not be recast in respect to the late action movie star.
The first superhero movie with a black actor as the lead character, Chadwick Boseman died on 22 August 2020 after secretly battling Colon cancer. He was married but had no children.
Chadwick who is best known for his characters on the 2018 Marvel franchise, “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” and 2019′s “Avengers” Endgame.”
The “Black Panther” broke records one of which was it being the first superhero movie nominated for the best picture at the Academy Awards. It grossed more than $1.3 billion worldwide. The franchise’s sequels will now go on without the T’Challa character.
