Dino Melaye: Saraki And Dogara Report Ibrahim Idris To President Buhari

The leadership of the National Assembly, Senator Bukola Saraki and Honourable Yakubu Dogara, has reported the Inspector General of the Nigerian Police Force, Ibrahim Idris, to President Buhari, after the police chief failed to present himself to the National Assembly after he was summoned twice.
The two lawmakers informed the President of Idris’s actions during a meeting with President Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa on Monday.
The Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bukola Saraki, informed the press of their discussion with President Buhari. He also disclosed that they discussed the 2018 appropriation bill which has still not been passed.
Saraki said: “We came on the invitation of Mr. President. He wanted to brief us on his trip to the United States and also on the issue of the budget. We also talked on the issue of concerns to us: the invasion of the National Assembly, which he showed great concern and he said action will be taken to investigate that.”
