Deputy Commander Of Boko Haram Apprehended by Police In Abuja

The Police has said that it has arrested a Boko Haram deputy commander named Seth Yakubu, at Gwako Village in Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital Territory. In a statement, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Musa Kimo said that the 20-year-old who hails from Nassarawa State was arrested at 11:30am on Sunday after a source had revealed his whereabout.The culprit had confessed on Monday that he had escaped from the Sambisa forest, after it was bombed a week ago by the Nigeria Air Force. The Commissioner of Police had said that Musa Kimo had been ratted out by members of the community where he had sort refuge. The Commissioner further added that Abuja residents should be at alert and report any strange and suspicious persons or activity to the police. “The command wishes to also advise community leaders to guard against habouring strangers, especially those whose mission to the community is not clear,” he said.Photo Credit:Getty
