Denmark’s Richest Man, Anders Holch Povlsen, Loses Three Out Of His Four Children To The Sri Lanka Attack

The billionaire owner of ASOS and Denmark’s richest man, Anders Holch Povlsen, has lost three out of his four children in the latest Sri Lanka terror attack on Easter Sunday. The 46-year-old businessman is the second largest private landowner in the UK and is the biggest shareholder in the online retailer. The attacks happened at three churches and three hotels in Colombo, Negombo, and Batticaloa on Easter Sunday. Other blasts were also recorded at St Sebastian’s Church in Negombo, a majority Catholic town north of Colombo, and at Zion Church in the eastern town of Batticaloa. A spokesperson for the 46-year-old father-of-four Anders Holch Povlsen confirmed that three of the businessman’s children were among the dead. Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed on Monday that three Danes were killed in the bombings. More than 500 people have been injured.
