An Illustrious Son Of The State – Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa Celebrates RMD At 60

Delta state governor Ifeanyi Okowa has showered nothing but endless praise on Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) as he turns 60 today. The actor who hails from the state and once served as a commissioner for culture and tourism under the Uduaghan administration of the state was described as an illustrious son by the governor who has made the state proud with his amazing talent and acting prowess.

In a statement given by the Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajikathe governor described the TV star as an individual who has contributed greatly to the movie industry and as served as a great inspiration to the Youth of Nigeria.

He wrote: ” “As one of the doyens of movie acting, you have bought great honour and glory to our dear state, Delta. We are proud of your many achievements in the movie and entertainment industry,” “On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I congratulate an illustrious son of the state, Mr. Richard Mofe-Damijo, aka RMD on his 60th birthday.” “As you turn 60, your family, associates, and admirers, have cause to be grateful to Almighty God for having granted you a life of wonderful accomplishments.”
